Ok, so this past few weeks are holidays for me. And realizing how many things I missed during my busy college days, I decide to put this free time into my little personal project called ELEMENT. This wallpaper project is inspired from various typography I saw on internet. I always like typography and I really want to experience more with photoshop. After roaming around the internet, I found several photoshop tutorial that help me with this ELEMENT. I made 7 variations which are Fire, Water, Earth, Air, & Life, plus Glow & Shadow…
Oh, and one more picture. This one is not from ELEMENT project, I just made it out of curiosity… Here it is The MATRIX
Last week I went to Pangandaran for 4 days with my friends and one soon-to-be-married-couple. I was asked to help my friend taking pre-wedding photos and even though I was not paid, I though it would be a good opportunity to get some good pictures for my portfolio (newbie’s way of thinking… hahaha). *Note: The entirely time there, I used my new 50mm f/ 1.8 fixed lens :))
What do you think? I’m not sure I was using the right method to make this kind of editing (doubled the layer, make the color over & blur, change it into overlay, then come some leveling) since I haven’t get the right tutorial yet, so if any of you know the right step, please leave comments below :)).
*Hm… I notice something from my new lens when I did this pre-wedding photography. It does have nice colors and small focus, leaving the rest of the picture in blur. But sometimes it gave not-that-nice bokeh, it’s too rough for my taste and in several occasions, ruin (or almost) the images. What a pity… -> price never lie huh?
Well, this past 2 days, I had an idea about making a logo for this blog. So this morning I managed to make 4 alternatives, and I would like to know what d u think of them. I, myself prefer the 3rd because it represents this blog better (the fun, feminine, flexible, etc… ). But several other people that I asked, prefer the other…
These are the photos that I took about several months ago for one of my final project at basic photography class. The assignment required me to do journalism photography for an event which happened on those 2 weeks. The event was happened at Pasar Induk Caringin, Bandung, Indonesia.
This afternoon (well, almost evening) when I just arrived at home, I saw a boy sitting beside the tree trunk inside a rubber-tyre almost in front of my house. When I saw him, I had an urge to take photos of the scene. So as soon as I parked my car inside, I put my bags on the top of my bed and run to grab my camera while hopping the boy will still sitting there. Then when I saw he was, I took several pictures. Here they are.
As a newbie at photography, I would like to know what you, readers, think about it. I’ll appreciate every comments and critics about them 🙂
